IMMERSION

The Institute for Digital Entertainment and Education's immersion programs give students a chance to step outside of the traditional classroom environment and work with other students, faculty, and professionals to develop digital media. This interdisciplinary environment gives students an opportunity to further their knowledge in their chosen field, while also learning from their peers. Unlike a typical course where student work is submitted to a professor, these projects are developed to meet the needs of a specific client and completed within a clear budget, helping students develop their portfolio and making them more marketable in the workplace. IDEE works to support and assist all of the colleges at Ball State University and provide students with traditional and non-traditional learning experiences.
