DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM (DEP)
IDEE is sponsoring the development of digital story telling skills in the Department of Theatre and Dance. Freshman and sophomore
students work to develop new media acumen that compliment the Theatre’s Production Option, and that will prepare them for capstone immersion projects during their senior year.
Students have written, produced and edited many media assets including trailers for the University Film Series as well their own short films. Check out the Fall Semester of 2008's outstanding student final projects.
Students interested in future DEP courses should contact idee@bsu.edu.
For the 2006-2007 school year, in a similar program called the Digital Entertainment Option Pilot, or DEOP, students produced a variety of video projects including:
- Webisodes: A Slice for a Nice Guy, Diaries of a Meter Maid, Proved
- Student Films: The White Room, A Male's Guide to Dating
- Promotional: Hole in the Wall Music Video
- Documentaries: About DEOP
